We had an amazing day. Staff from Bolton College enjoyed all the NEC had to offer on the 26th of June 2025. They participated in a round table at the UWLA (unified water label association). It was an honor to be invited to share our experiences. We discussed how we at the college have been working with our students on water conservation.

Leading the discussion with our insights into how we embed this into the delivery at Bolton College.

Passionate discussion about our industry

Our students happily showcasing the poster that the department produced that now hangs in our classrooms and workshops.

#UWLA working with training providers

We spent some time at the CIPHE stand. We discussed all things plumbing with Kevin Wellman, CEO at CIPHE, and Mike Maskrey, training manager at CIPHE.
Bolton College will be added to the approved training centre ranks this academic year. Jerry Whiteley will come to give the plaque at the college in September.
The show was good. We made some great connections with the industry. We also arranged for college visits. These visits will enhance the delivery of some of our courses in the new academic year. These will serve as industry masterclasses for our level 3 advanced diploma. They will be applied during the delivery of certain units.
